We traveled to Illinois to celebrate Alyssa's Bat Mitzvah. She did a beautiful job, and we're all very proud of her! Her is Alyssa with her Mom, my cousin Joan.

Green Bay trip

We traveled to Green Bay last weekend to see family and a Packers pre-season game.

Linden loved seeing Grandma Jean, Grandpa Mike, Uncle Chris, Uncle Shaun, Aunt Jen, and Liz. We also saw the Mead and Suds great-grandparents.


Adam, Lisa, and Landon stopped over too.

Weekly update

Linden started the week by getting his four-month immunizations. He had a mild fever, but nothing else to report.

Coca and Linden are becoming buddies!

We hiked and relaxed at Blue Mounds State park.
We enjoyed Jazz at Five on Wednesday.

Scott's frisbee team played in the league tournament, and they made it all the way to the finals.

We traveled to Green Bay for a Packers game this weekend. (More on that in a separate post.)

New Sunday tradition?

We tried it out a new bar last weekend that our friends Rob and Maria found. It's located directly on Lake Monona, it has a Capital view across a beautiful lawn, and it has reasonably price food and liquor. We're planning to make this Tiki bar our new spot.

Hausners visit

We traveled to Lake Wildwood to see my Uncle Larry, Judd, and Nina. Although it was a quick visit, we had a great time water-skiing, tubing, and playing canasta.

Meads visit

Mike and Jeanine came for a visit last weekend. We really enjoyed seeing them! The weather was mild and perfect, and we enjoyed homemade pizza in our backyard Friday night.

We met Chris, Jen, Ken, and Barb for dinner at Sardines Saturday night to celebrate Chris and Jen's first anniversary.
