Latest Travels

We went to the Concert on the Square last week. Linden loved watching all the people!

Our neighbors Kallie and Verne hosted a party at the Mallards game last week. Verne is the General Manager, and he got us great seats right by home-base.

We traveled to Lisle last weekend. My cousin David and his family visited from India. My Aunt Sue and Uncle Paul enjoyed having all seven grandchildren together for several weeks!

We also celebrated three birthdays: my Mom, Brad, and Ravi.
I haven't caught Linden's newest trick on video yet. He can roll from his back to his side! Instead, here's a video of Scott tickling Linden.

Weekly update

Linden still loves bath-time. Here he is wrapped up in the very cute towel from Jacki and Mark.

Peggy came over for dinner last week. She's feeding Linden a bottle so that we can enjoy a different type of bottle ourselves...

The biggest event of the week was that we set up a crib for Linden. This is another hand-me-down generously shared by Mary. We moved Scott's great-grandfather's cradle to the first floor, and moved the pack-n-play from the first floor to storage in the basement. The first night in the big crib went well, and he woke up in a great mood this morning. Linden took his afternoon nap there today.

Visit to Green Bay

We took a road trip up to Green Bay last week. Highlights included seeing Shaun's new house.
We had dinner with the grandparents, great-grandparents, and Uncle Shaun.

Anne sent two big crates full of hand-me-downs from her kids:

We spent the rest of the week at the Mead's cottage. We all enjoyed a very relaxing vacation with beautiful weather!

Linden dipped his feet into Kelly Lake. Despite the warm water temperature, he didn't like having his bottom in the water.

Jeff took me waterskiing on their boat, while Lori watched Linden on land.
We made a nice campfire several nights.

Linden's neck is getting stronger. Here he is playing with another one of Anne's hand-me-downs.

Union

We enjoyed the Union Terrace with some friends recently.

Lamonts visit

Grandma and Grandad Lamont visited recently. Here Linden ponders the impressionist pictures and poem read to him by Grandma.

Great grand-father's cradle

Here's a cute picture of Linden in Scott's grandfrather's cradle. Adorable shorts provided by Uncle Shaun and Liz.

Here's a movie of Linden enjoying the doggie mobile from Sterling and Jannea.

Frisbee!

Scott is playing Ultimate Frisbee again this summer. This is about the fourth time that the core of the team has played together, and they know each other well now. The team is really solid, and they've won nearly all their games.

To promote spirit, both teams perform a cheer at the end of the game. Here's a tribute to Michael Jackson. (For those not in the know, they are saying "huck" and it means to throw the disk a long distance.)

The game was on a very cold evening, and Linden was all bundled up in Mary's hand-me-downs.

Happy 4th!

Happy fourth of July!

Here's Linden in a cute outfit from Grandma Jean:
Our neighborhood has a 4th parade each year. All the kids decorate their bikes, and Linden decorated his Ergo.

Linden loves his new carrier! Thanks again Aunt Sue and Uncle Paul!
