Stuck!

Linden's favorite new word is "stuck". Sometimes he locks a gate or puts a toy into an unlovable position just so he can say "Stuck!"

Demolition of the old garage

The garage for our house was built in 1929. This summer we found the original building permit while we were cleaning the basement. It was issued to F.K. Shuttleworth, a Madison lawyer who built our house and our neighbor's. The garage has gradually become structurally unsound, so we had a garden shed built to replace it. The old garage was demolished yesterday.

Someone in particular enjoyed the Bobcat that was used to remove the concrete

Olbrich trains

Linden and I stopped at Olbrich gardens to see their holiday train exhibit. Linden loved it! They change the trains daily, so we'll be back.
