Demolition of the old garage

The garage for our house was built in 1929. This summer we found the original building permit while we were cleaning the basement. It was issued to F.K. Shuttleworth, a Madison lawyer who built our house and our neighbor's. The garage has gradually become structurally unsound, so we had a garden shed built to replace it. The old garage was demolished yesterday.

Someone in particular enjoyed the Bobcat that was used to remove the concrete

wow, that really opens up the backyard for an even bigger garden or more kiddos running around! I didn't even think look back there and check it out when I was over. I guess it was dark anyway. :) -Lisa
