We got Dahlia one of those the other day and the learning curve looked pretty much exactly like that. :) I found the best thing to do was to actually sit a little ways in front of the walker -- that way she tries to walk towards me, but if she neglects to actually step and starts doing that forward slide thing, I can stop the walker from rolling and she can regroup. Kudos to Linden for his pulling-up abilities! I've been trying to get Dahlia to pull up on the couch like Linden did in that last video, and she gets so frustrated -- maybe she'll be able to do better on the walker.

Linden is pretty cute, but Grandad's response is just as sweet!
